Founded in 2008, Moda Energy began as a traditional Electrical Consultancy, offering expert electrical services across diverse sectors such as Rail, Airports, Defence, Nuclear, Water, Hospitals, ICP, and DNOs.

With over 20 years of experience and a specialisation in high voltage systems, Moda has successfully tackled some of the most complex electrical infrastructure challenges across intricate networks.

Thanks to our deep expertise in both regulated and unregulated networks, as well as energy generation and storage, Moda Energy has a unique ability to design and implement technically sound and commercially viable solutions.

In 2022, Moda transitioned from a conventional design consultancy to a leading player in the Net Zero transition, adopting a proactive approach to identifying and solving key technical and commercial barriers.

In many instances a traditional business case simply doesn't stack up. It is only when technology and infrastructure is implemented as part of a holistic and considered long term solution are the appropriate decisions made. We have worked to enable our partners, providing the business case, investment as well as delivering the best engineered solution to complex issues.

Our first venture has been in collaboration with St. Paul’s Church, where we delivered a fully funded 250kW Ultra Rapid EV charging site, allowing the community to fully charge their vehicles in under 20 minutes, delivering ongoing revenue for a community asset.
